The government runs many schemes for women, one of them is the PM Matru Vandana Yojana . Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 5000 is given to each woman, out of which Rs 3000 is given for the nutrition of women during the delivery period and the remaining Rs 2000 is given for the food of the children after delivery.

All pregnant women are benefited from the PM Matru Vandana Yojana. Under this scheme, women are given an amount of Rs 5000 in two or three installments. In many states, this amount has also been increased, like in Rajasthan, pregnant women will be given Rs 6500 in two installments.

The objective is to provide compensation to compensate for the loss of wages and to ensure their proper rest and nutrition. The amount is given to improve the health and good eating habits of pregnant women. This amount is sent directly to the bank accounts of the women.

• First Installment ₹ 1000 at the time of pregnancy registration,

• 2nd installment ₹ 2000 if the beneficiary undergoes at least one antenatal checkup after 6 months of pregnancy,

• 3rd installment ₹ 2000 when the birth of the child is registered and the child is given BCG, OPV Women who are doing government jobs will not get the benefit of this scheme.
